

I have had to do this with family, friends, colleagues, housemates etc. But let me crystal clear on this - those you didn’t originally choose can still be removed from your life if they are the root of your depression, anxiety, low self esteem, lack of self confidence etc.

However, those you did and you ignored or continue to ignore the RED FLAGS, it’s time to hold yourself accountable and start the “removal and cleanse process”. Sometimes these people aren’t in your life because you chose them to be e.g. Protecting your energy is more than getting rid of bad friends, it’s also getting rid of your toxic partner, distancing yourself from a colleague, cutting ties with family members, creating boundaries and also holding yourself accountable too. They enjoy causing mayhem/living in chaos and really don’t know or want to be happy. Have you ever met someone and realised later or just knew immediately that this person thrives off negativity? Not only do they spread it to those close to them but they strive to spread it as far and wide as they can.
